Lewisburg-Lucille Lindsey Wade, 93, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 20, 2019, at Greenbrier Health Care Center in Lewisburg.

Lucille was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Landisburg, Fayette County, WV, the daughter of the late Dave C. and Mamie Hambrick Lindsey.

Lucille graduated from Nuttall High School in Lookout. She was a proud quilter and had worked in the business office for Lord Calvert Distillery and Bottling Company as well as in the credit union for 45 years from 1943 through 1988.

Preceding Lucille in death other than her parents were her husband of 75 years, Thurmond Cleveland Wade in February of 2018; and brothers, Dave C. and Frank W. Lindsey.

Surviving are her brothers, Herbert L. Lindsey of Hinton and Albert W. Lindsey of Lewisburg; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wade were held Tuesday, Mar. 26, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Pastor Gary Baker officiated.

The family receive family and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday before the service.
