Left to mourn her passing; her three nephews, Dr. Robert J. Rookstool (Laura) of Langley, WA, David K. Rookstool (Melissa) of King, NC, and Thomas A. Rookstool of Boiling Springs, SC; 20 great nieces and nephews, Brian Baker (Lena), William C. Rookstool III, Darcy Rookstool, Caitlyn Chaires (Austin), Amanda Assante (Anthony), Kevin Rookstool (Jamie), Emily Kennedy (Joseph), Kelsey Rookstool, Katie Kennedy (Michael), Amber Rookstool, Abigail Ratterman (Paul), Grace Rookstool, Adeline Rookstool, Luke Rookstool (Philomena), Olivia Rookstool, Isabelle Rookstool, Ava Rookstool, Jonathan Rookstool, Owen Rookstool, and Eli Rookstool; 19 great-great nieces and nephews, Brynna, Sasha, Nina, Finn, Mila, Luka, Flora, Ambrose, Peggy, Leo, Hugo, Ant, Charlotte, Reagan, Luke, Owen, Levi, Aly, and Louella.

Lola’s generosity and strength have been an inspiration to her family and many others during her lifetime and will continue to be so even after her passing. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Rainelle Healthcare Center staff for their yearslong compassionate care of Lola during her extended illness.

Services for Lola will be at 12 noon Saturday, Apr. 26 at the Smathers Funeral Chapel in Rainelle, WV, with Pastor Jim Groves officiating. Burial will follow at the End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville.
