GVBC believes in the continued success and growth of women in the beer industry

Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company (GVBC) is set to release their new Ninkasi Saison in collaboration with Pink Boots Society for this year’s 5th annual Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day on Feb. 21. This beer will be brewed with Pink Boots Society’s 2021 Feature blend of hops, produced by Yakima Chief Hops, which will donate $3 for every pound of hops sold to Pink Boots Society for education and programming.

This beer will launch the beginning of the Pathfinder Series, designated to signify those who are the first to create new ideas, knowledge, or activities both within the brewing industry and social movements throughout history and current events.

The Brewery would like invite all in supporting our women and/or nonbinary individuals in the beer industry by attending their special release party at Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company on Saturday, Mar. 12, at 6 p.m. Key speakers will include Jennifer Runyon, Vice President of American Distributing; with live music from West Virginia rock band Samantha Fox and the Hound Dogs.

Pink Boots Society’s mission is to “assist, inspire, and encourage the professional development and education of women in our industry.” With the help of their partnership with Yakima Chief Hops, this society has been able to provide scholarships to young women and nonbinary persons that have a desire to pursue a career in beer industry. Breweries across the United States have been allowed the opportunity to support Pink Boot Society by purchasing the specialty blended hops to create their own Pink Boots Society brew.

Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company will be presenting a woodsy, spicy Saison which will complement the fruity characteristics of the selected hop blend of HBC 630, Idaho Gem, Loral, Talus, and Triumph at their release party in March.

Get out. Explore. Support your local female beer industry workers. Bring Beer.
