After Nexstar programming went dark on Altice USA’s Optimum channels on Jan. 10, the service was restored to customers after the two companies struck an agreement over a week later on Jan. 18.
“Together, Nexstar and Optimum thank our customers and viewers for their patience as we partnered on the best deal for them. Specific terms of the agreement were not released,” states a Nexstar press release.
Optimum’s website (www.optimum.com/Nexstar) was updated with the following notice: “Great news! Your favorite local ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS and CW affiliated stations, as well as NewsNation are back on Optimum TV. At Optimum, we remain committed to providing you the best content and entertainment experience at the best value possible. We want to thank you for your patience and loyalty as we fought hard on our customers’ behalf.”
