Hand-woven baskets were featured in the window of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Central’s office throughout the month of November. During this time approximately 35 baskets were sold, and proceeds of $2,560 were donated to the Children’s Home Society in Rupert. The money will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for the children at the home.
Thank you goes to Donna Witt for the basket materials and leadership for the project, to the members of the Southern WV Basket Makers Guild for the time and expertise to assemble the baskets, and Linda Rodgers, realtor, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Central for the display and sales area.
