Greenbrier East FFA competes at WVU Morgantown

The Greenbrier East FFA would like to congratulate the members or the Livestock judging, Agricultural Mechanics and Floriculture teams. The contests were held at West Virginia University in Morgantown on June 2 through June 4.
The career development events are contests designed to take what students have learned in the classroom apply it in as many real world situations as possible. All of these students have taken many hours and days preparing themselves for these contests. Each team has four members and are expected to complete a variety of tasks.
• Livestock Judging placed 2nd in the state:
Olivia McHale 5th in the State
Kaylyn Perry 8th in the state
Chloe Dauwell
Andrew Vance
• Agricultural Mechanics placed 5th in the state:
Coleton Phillips 10th in the state
Justin Viers 12th in the State
Trace Butcher 17th in the State
Bryer Ellis 19th in the State
• Floriculture placed 8th in the state:
Alexis Jones
Gillian Plaugher
Abbie Lewis
Madison Jackson
