Linda D. McDermott, 82, of Neola (White Sulphur Springs) passed away on Aug. 8, 2025, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 12, 1943, near Hudson, NY, the daughter of Jake and Effie Twiggs Perrine.
Linda was a devoted activities director for patients suffering from dementia, a job she truly was devoted to and enjoyed. She loved her house plants.
She is preceded in death by a son, David Raines.
Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her husband of 33 years, Roger Phil McDermott; daughter, Stacy Raines of Florida; son Russell Raines of New York; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Jackie Conklin of New York; and her fur babies Angel, Maggie and Bella.
It is Linda’s wishes to be cremated with no services.
Linda also wanted memorial contributions be made to Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home to help Roger with expenses.
