The Ronceverte Public Library has temporarily closed in order to help prevent the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus. We know that taking this action has caused inconvenience to many of our patrons. We did this after long deliberation and by advice from our local health department.
Part of our service to the community is access to the Internet. For that reason we have decided that during regular library hours we will have Internet Wi-Fi passes placed inside an envelope that will be attached to the door. These passes can be used in the library parking lot throughout the day and will be good for a four-hour time period.
For those of you who wish to continue reading but have no books at home, we are also including instructions on how to download a kindle app or Libby app on your android or other compatible electronic device. If you find yourself having any problems with the instructions, please do not hesitate to call us at 304-647-7400 during library hours and we will do our best to walk you through the process.
While we are closed, all books due during the time we are closed will be fine free. We do not feel that allowing continued check-out of books from inside the library is a wise choice until we are advised that it is all right to reopen. Upon notification of the library reopening, we will begin our regular service to our patrons.
We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time period. If there are any questions or if we can be of service in any other area, please call us and we will do our best to help within the health-safety of our community.
