Registered Nurses seeking a new and fulfilling career opportunity are encouraged to attend one of LewisGale’s upcoming career fairs. All four LewisGale hospitals located in Salem, Low Moor, Pulaski and Blacksburg, have immediate openings and will have representatives available to meet with candidates.

LewisGale is seeking new grad and experienced registered nurses for several departments including: Behavioral Health, Emergency Services, Float Pool, ICU, Med/Surg, Oncology, Orthopedics, Progressive Care, Surgical Services and various procedural areas. The health system is also recruiting for its Central Resource Pool, a new career option that allows nurses to work in various areas of nursing at all four hospitals.

“This is an exciting opportunity for registered nurses who want to experience many aspects of healthcare,” said Loressa Cole, Chief Nurse Executive, DNP, RN, LewisGale Regional Health System. “In addition, the Central Resource Pool allows nurses to have a more flexible schedule with excellent compensation.”

The career fairs will be held in Salem and Blacksburg on the following dates:

• LewisGale Medical Center: Oct. 28, 4-7 p.m.

• LewisGale Medical Center, Education Center, 1900 Electric Road, Salem, VA

• LewisGale Hospital Montgomery: Nov. 6, 4-7 p.m., Hospital Cafeteria, 3700 South Main Street, Blacksburg VA

Nurses who pre-register for the event may also quality for an on-site interview with a Nurse Manager. Select positions will also be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Professional attire is required. To register for one of the career fairs, go to LewisGale.com. For more information on the Central Resource Pool, contact Callie Peaslee at 540-776-4874.
