The Lewisburg in Bloom Committee is sponsoring the fifth annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Center Green Space in downtown Lewisburg on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.

City officials will once again “Illuminate Lewisburg” by lighting the Christmas tree in the Center Green Space. Christmas Carolers from the John Wesley Church Choir and Dr. Calvin McClinton, music director of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church will lead the public in singing Christmas songs during the tree lighting ceremony.

Lewisburg in Bloom Committee members will serve hot chocolate from the Wild Bean and cookies from Corn and Flour Bakery during the event.
