On Mar. 26, the Lewisburg House and Garden Club met for the first meeting of 2025 in the Activity Room of Old Stone Presbyterian Church. Deloris Dotson and Barb Hiltner were hostesses. Those in attendance were Mary Lindquist, Barb Hiltner, Suzanne Perilli, Peggy Brown, Sharon Holladay, Sue McKinney, Martha Perilli, Deloris Dotson, Townley Hamiton, Judy Deegans, Joan Montgomery, Ghee Gossard and Susie Harkness. The club yearbooks for 2025 were distributed to those present.
First Vice President Dotson called the meeting to order as President Marit Withrow was away. The Creed was recited. County Attorney Britt Ludwig was introduced and she spoke to the group about the Community Survey which the County Commission intends to utilize the survey to influence how the community develops. The anonymous survey is available online and takes about ten minutes. The members were urged to complete the survey if they have not already done so.
