Caldwell – Leta Dorene Patton, 84, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Lewisburg Healthcare Center in Ronceverte.
She was born May 6, 1939 in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late Curtis Waugh and Maragret Shope.
Dorene was a member of Highland Park Methodist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Patton; sister, Glenda Gale Bostic; and niece, Mercedes Loudermilk.
Surviving are nephews, Henry Saylor and Russell Loudermilk; cousins, Robert Shope, Ray Saylor, Jerry Saylor and Tony Saylor; great-niece, Elizabeth Shelton; and great-great-nephews, Russell and Blaine Shelton.
A celebration of Life for Mrs. Patton was held on Sunday, May 21, at the Highland Park Community Church where Pastor Freddie Bostic officiated. The family received family and friends before the service.
