Leslie Scott Miller, 55, passed away on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va. Born Jan. 1, 1971, in Union, WV, he was the son of Dillard Lee Miller of Union, WV, and the late Judy Carol Grubb Miller. Leslie got his bachelor’s degree from Bluefield State and worked as a job counselor for Workforce West Virginia. He loved fishing and computers. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle.
In addition to his father, survivors include four brothers, Jeff Miller and wife Kathy of White Sulphur Springs, Michael Miller and wife Ann of Union, Kevin Miller and wife Stacey of Union, and Mark Miller and wife Tabitha of Hillsborough, N.C.; one sister, Karen Lemons and husband Jerry of Pickaway; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, at Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Todd Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Union, with Jeff Miller, Michael Miller, Kevin Miller, Mark Miller, Trey Lemons, and Cameron Miller serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from noon until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
