Leila Gray Boothe, of Dublin, OH, formerly of Frankford, WV, passed away on Feb. 28, 2025, in Columbus, OH.
She was born Aug. 31, 1940, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter the late Earl Floyd and Erma Lewis Owens Gray.
Leila, along with her husband Kenneth owned and operated the Lewisburg Food and Produce Market.
She had a long history making sure that Lewis Chapel Cemetery was always looking in tip top shape.
Other than her parents she was preceded in by her husband, Kenneth N. Boothe, Sr.; sisters, Winojean Smith (James), Anne Poole (Everett), Brenda Sullivan, Lynn McLaughlin (Dick) and brothers, Carroll Gray (June) and Earl “Buddy” Gray (Janet).
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Ken Boothe (Susan); granddaughter Emily Sieban (Tom) and great-grandson Stanley Thomas Sieban and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Leila are scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Lewis Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Ron Miller officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lewis Chapel Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 178, Maxwelton, WV 24957.
