Larry “Snook” Douglas Woods, 62, of Lewisburg, passed away on Oct. 20, 2024.

He was born on Sept. 24, 1962, in Ronceverte, the son of Luther Robert Winkfield and Virginia Lee White.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Freddy Woods, Dallas Winkfield, Calvin Freeman, Timmie White and brother-in-law, Jamie Hanson.

Larry loved his mama and his girls. He was a hard worker. He also loved listening to music, playing poker and drinking coffee. He will be greatly missed by all his family and his special friend “Mary Jane.”

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years, Heather Woods; four daughters, Ashley Ayersman (Will) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Alize Hollinghead (John) of Athens, Ohio, Azjah Woods of Morgantown and Jahzara Woods of Lewisburg; brothers, Mike Woods, Jerry King, Sam Winkfield and Wade Winkfield. He also leaves behind his dog, Bella and his cat, Kit Kat, extended family and friends.

The memorial service will be at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.wallaceandwallacefh.com. Wallace & Wallace, Inc. of Rainelle, WV, is in charge of arrangements.
