The Greenbrier Valley and Southern Conservation Districts will host their annual Land Judging and Home Site Evaluation Contest on Tuesday, Apr. 29 at the USDA-NRCS Plant Materials Center in Alderson. All area FFA, 4-H groups and Envirothon teams are encouraged to participate. The contest will begin promptly at 10 a.m. There will be four land judging fields or pits and two home site fields during the 20 minute judging period.
All groups are invited to bring at least two teams of four members each. Awards will be presented to the top scoring teams within the Greenbrier Valley and Southern Conservation Districts. Teams outside our area are welcome to participate as a practice session.
