Greenbrier Valley Theatre proudly presents the second Saturday Sinfonia concert featuring Kevin von der Heydt on piano performing the works of Claude Debussy.

The concert will be on Saturday, June 23, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for general admission, $14 for seniors and $10 for children/students. For tickets or more information, call GVT’s Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.

Debussy is one of the most highly regarded and respected composers of the 20th Century and his work is considered some of the most innovative. By the end of his life he was known as a musical legend.

Performing this powerful music will be Kevin von der Heydt on piano. This immensely talented musician currently works as the pianist for The Greenbrier resort. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Indiana University School of Music and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance.

“We are thrilled to have Kevin von der Heydt perform this program at GVT! In addition to playing, he will be illustrating the influences on Debussy, and discussing the pieces,” said Music Director Kermit Medsker.

Von der Heydt will perform live on Saturday, June 23, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for general admission, $14 for seniors and $10 for children/students. For tickets or more information, call GVT’s Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org. This program is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Culture & History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
