Kester Dean Ramsey, 89, of White Sulphur Springs passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025.
Kester was born Nov. 24, 1935, at Glace to the late Humphrey Dilworth and Delphia Jane Spence Ramsey.
Kester was a logger most of his life and was a US Army Veteran.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bernard and Delmas Ramsey.
Surviving include his companion, Valerie Williamson of White Sulphur Springs; daughters, Betty Mace and husband Dennis and Sharon Dunbar and husband Bobby of Gap Mills; grandchildren, Christopher Richmond and wife Shannon of Covington, VA, Danielle Boone and husband Israel of Troutville, VA, Justin Mace, Stephanie Cash & husband Lucas of Stuarts Draft, VA, Steven Hoke and wife Samantha of Glace, and Jesse Hoke and wife Traci of Frankford, Travis Dunbar of Sinks Grove and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Spence Cemetery at Hollywood.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.
