Fairlea-Kenneth Lee Wykle, 76, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born Jan. 5, 1943, in White Sulphur Springs, he was the son of the late Zernie and Bessie Wykle.

Kenny worked for The Greenbrier Hotel for 40 years. Kenny never met a stranger and loved his family dearly. Kenny loved sports and enjoyed music and dancing.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie; brothers, Will, Edd, and Hubert; and sister, Ilene Cornish.

He is survived by daughter, Bertha Weikle (Matt); step-mother, Lucille Wykle; brothers, Lee (Ann), Richard, and James “Slim”; and four sisters, Dorothy Harbaugh (Jim), Margaret Williams, Barbara Bostic (Burless), and Linda Carrington (William); granddaughter, Savannah Wykle and two grandsons, Nathan and Mitchell Weikle; three great-granddaughters, Hayley, Chloe, and Keira; and several nieces and nephews.

Kenny’s family welcomed friends and family at Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, for visitation on Saturday evening, Jan. 26.

A service was held at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 27, where Pastor Mike Neel from Caldwell Pentecostal Church officiated. Burial followed in Greenbrier Memorial Garden’s Mausoleums. Pall Bearers were Jim Miller, Mike Carrington, Chris Carrington, Gary Wykle, Kevin Williams and Brent Parker.
