Recording Artist Karen Spurlock will be in concert at Rhema Christian Center on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m.
The community is invited to attend this family friendly event (childcare is available for preschoolers). The audience will be both entertained and inspired by the music from this native West Virginian who recognized that her God-given gift came with a calling to share it with others.
She says, “As an artist, I’ve learned how important it is to write lyrics that are honest; to write with a passion and a vision. For me, the best way to stay personable is to stay connected with the season I’m in; to be genuine about what I’m learning, what I’m walking through, in hopes that the reality of my lyrics would offer encouragement, inspiration, and hope to an audience of people I may never have the chance to sit down and have coffee with.”
