White Sulphur Springs-Julian Lee Erwin, 79, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea.\r\nBorn Nov. 21, 1936, in Caldwell, he was a son of the late Herman Erwin and Annie Ervine Erwin.\r\nAfter graduating from White Sulphur High School, he served his country in the Navy. He was in the cleaning industry. Mr. Erwin was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed playing golf and he also liked baseball.\r\nPreceding him in death were brothers, Robert \u201cBob,\u201d Layman, Paul and Melvin \u201cBabe\u201d; and sister, Helen Moss.\r\nSurvivors include his wife at home, Phyllis Erwin; brother, Bill Erwin (Shelby) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nMemorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Lowell O\u2019Dell officiating.
