White Sulphur Springs-Julian Lee Erwin, 79, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea.
Born Nov. 21, 1936, in Caldwell, he was a son of the late Herman Erwin and Annie Ervine Erwin.
After graduating from White Sulphur High School, he served his country in the Navy. He was in the cleaning industry. Mr. Erwin was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed playing golf and he also liked baseball.
Preceding him in death were brothers, Robert “Bob,” Layman, Paul and Melvin “Babe”; and sister, Helen Moss.
Survivors include his wife at home, Phyllis Erwin; brother, Bill Erwin (Shelby) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Lowell O’Dell officiating.
