Judith Lee Nutter, 78, of Lewisburg, formerly of Rainelle, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1946; she was the daughter of the late Frank Alderson McClung and June Bernice Walker McClung
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Staff Sgt., Arlington “Arlie” Ray Nutter in 2002.
Judith was a seamstress at the Rainelle sewing factory. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She attended Highland First Church of God when she was able.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Joy Nutter and Valerie Fitzwater; grandchildren, Justin Fitzwater, Courtney Fitzwater, Devon Fitzwater and Elizabeth Cutcher; six great-grandchildren; sister, Jewell Sams; her caregiver, Kermit Claypoole; and extended family and friends.
Service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Rev. Vondie Cook, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
