The GEHS JROTC Air Rifle Team placed 14th among 3,000 schools at the national tournament.

The Greenbrier East High School JROTC Air Rifle Team traveled to Anniston, Alabama, to compete in the All Services JROTC Nationals following a first place finish at the Eastern Regionals.

The team continued to be a force, finishing 14th among 3,000 schools across the nation.

Cadet C. Garrett led the Spartans to an 8th place finish in the nation in the Civilian Marksmanship Program individually, distinguishing herself from over 18,000 marksmen who began competing in November. Cadet Garrett earned top ranking as 1st in the nation among Army JROTC Cadets.

The team extends sincere gratitude to their supporters and sponsors; NAPA Auto Parts, American Legion Post 26, Enterprise Rentals, the Faculty and Staff at Greenbrier East High School, and the Greenbrier County Board of Education.
