Joyce Boone Bland of Trinity, NC, passed away Feb. 20, 2026.
She is the daughter of Daniel and Evelyn Boone, born in Frankford, WV. She grew up in Maxwelton before moving to North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Bland; brother, Rondel Boone; sister, Patricia Boone.
Living family; brothers, Ralph Boone, Randall Boone of Maxwelton; sister, Julia Gillilan of White Sulphur Springs; children, Karla Moore, Jeremy Bland, Valerie Bland; grandchildren, Jennifer Moore, Christopher Moore; great-grandson, Remington Ashburn; nephew, Joseph Gillilan; nieces, Dana Gillilan, Ashley Boone, Loretta Fisher, Tina Dunbar; and extended family members.
Memorial graveside service and interment will be Aug. 8, 2026 at 10 AM in Enon Baptist Church cemetery, Vago Road, Frankford, WV. Rev. Ron Miller officiating. Pastor Sam McClung.
