Lewisburg-John Douglas Kelley, passed away Thursday, Apr. 18, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

He was born July 23, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John Campbell and Sarah Ruth Kelley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Neal Kelley.

He is survived by his daughter, Caroline Ormandy and son-in-law, Brandon Ormandy of Ronceverte; daughter, Margaret (Maggie) Connard and son-in-law, Tom Connard of San Francisco, CA; and grandchildren Ryan, Lauren and Megan Lindsey and Quinn Connard.

John was a veteran of the US Navy who served two tours in Vietnam. He worked many years as a school counselor and loved to sing. He was a devoted husband, father and friend with an unswerving dedication to his faith and church family.

A viewing was held Monday, Apr. 22 at Rhema Christian Center in Lewisburg. A memorial service followed at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations of sympathy be made to the Celebrate Recovery program at Rhema Christian Center.

Wallace & Wallacce Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
