John Cameron Brown

Ronceverte-John Cameron Brown, 58, passed away Saturday, Mar. 28, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born May 13, 1956 at Orlando, FL, he is the son of Janice Carol Gum of Ronceverte and Dearl Lee Brown and wife Joan of Ronceverte.

John was a Civil Engineer for the West Virginia Department of Highways and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by stepfather, Donald Gum.

Survivors also include: his wife, Sally Joyce Sarver Brown of Ronceverte; sons, Joshua Grant “JJ” Taylor and fiance Anther Rowe of Williamsburg and Scott Taylor and wife Emily of Ronceverte; granddaughter, Brylee Taylor; sister, Lisa Brown Carter and husband Donnie Yates of Frankford; brother, George R. “Bob” Brown and wife Judith of Frankford; niece, Autumn Paige Carter; special friends, Gary and Gayle Neldon of Morgantown.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Mar. 31, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte where Pastor Bryan C. Baker officiated.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
