Ronceverte-Jerry L. Trigg, 71, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.

Born Aug. 1, 1948, in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late William T. Trigg and Lillie J. Dunlap Woods.

Jerry loved life, Bethesda Church and talking to anyone who would listen. He had many close friends and family that he cherished. He was employed by Davis Stuart Inc. for 36 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maude T. Dunlap and an uncle, Billy Dunlap.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Linda M. Jones Trigg; daughter, Myra Davis (Reggie) of Roanoke, VA; sons, Chad Jones (Pam) of Roanoke, VA and Pastor Aaron Trigg (Diana) of Rainelle; foster son, Marvin Skyles (Denise) of Charleston, WV; aunt, Justine Noll of Union; uncle, Robert Dunlap (Paulette) of Heath, OH; grandchildren, Alex and Chad Jones Jr., Chyna Jones, Rjai Davis and Malachi Davis; and many cousins.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with his son, Pastor Aaron Trigg and Pastor Chad Dingess officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until time of the service at the funeral home.

Cremation will follow the service.

The family requests no flowers be purchased since he will be cremated.
