Born Oct. 21, 1976, in Hinton, he was the son of the late Eugene Burns and the late Linda Kay King Burns.
Jamie went to school in Alderson, where he played football and baseball. He was Catholic, loved playing video games and was a big WVU sports fan. He loved the Bears, Bulls and Braves, loved The Godfather films and his favorite television shows were The Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy. He was a super fan of Gun’s and Roses and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
He will be remembered by his brother, Ralph Eugene Burns of Alderson; four uncles, Buddy, Jimmy, Joe and Ray; an aunt, Francis; and his girlfriend, B. Johnson. He will also be missed by his neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, Susan Kirby, Joe Lusk, Mr. and Mrs. Duff, Brian DeRouen and others.
Jamie was a loving brother, a good son, and a friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
Jamie will be laid to rest with his mother and father, following a small, private ceremony with family and friends.
