High Point, NC-James Ronald “Ron” Neely, Sr., of High Point, NC, formerly of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019.
Ron was retired from the United States Navy and a member of Conrad Baptist Church in High Point, NC.
Prior to Ron’s death, he requested to be cremated and asked to have his cremains spread on the farm of his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Canterbury.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Ron’s life and spreading his cremains on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. at the Canterbury Farm, 3550 Neff Orchard Road, Sinks Grove, WV 23976. To honor Ron, wear your WVU, Boston Red Sox or Greenbrier East Spartans apparel, dress comfortably. A meal will be served following the service.
