James Caplinger and Kevin Von Der Heydt together at GVT

Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT) is proud to announce its third Saturday Sinfonia featuring the vocals of James Caplinger accompanied by Kevin von der Heydt on piano.

The concert will be on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for general admission, $14 for seniors and $10 for children/students. For tickets or more information, call GVT’s Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.

Vocalist James Caplinger is a professor at University of Charleston and has appeared in roles in numerous places including the Greater Miami Opera, the Palm Beach Opera and the Boca Raton Symphonic Pops. Prior to MSU, he taught at Florida Atlantic University and Ohio University.

Kevin von der Heydt will accompany the vocalist on piano. The skilled pianist currently works at The Greenbrier resort. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Indiana University School of Music and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance.

The program is presented with financial assistance from the WV Division of Culture & History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
