The workshop will benefit both the intermediate and experienced quilter. It will include sections on piecing, using rotary cutters, reading and using rulers and pattern reading. Participants will receive a kit that includes fabric and a book. Students will complete a quilt top from a design in the book Quilts for El’s Kitchen by Eleanor Burns.

Tuition is $100, and there is a required $180 kit fee. The deadline to register is Mar. 14 to allow time for ordering kits.

For more information, or to register, contact Sandra Wilmer in the New River Community and Technical College Office of Workforce Education at 304-793-3001, or e-mail swilmer@newriver.edu.
