The 15th Annual Toast to Hospice will be held Friday, Nov. 1 at the Alumni Center on the campus of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. The event is held annually in November to celebrate National Hospice Month and raise awareness of the special kind of care Hospice provides to patients and families affected by a terminal and life-limiting illness. HospiceCare provides services to anyone who meets admission criteria, regardless of ability to pay.

The evening will begin with a wine reception at 6:30 p.m., heavy hors d’oeuvres by The Livery Tavern, and silent auction. A live auction featuring fine wine discoveries hosted by Mark and Allyson Liebendorfer, proprietors of the Country Vintner will follow.

Tickets are $50 per person and may be reserved by calling 304-645-2700 or 800-237-0842. All proceeds benefit HospiceCare’s new in-patient facility, which is currently under construction.
