HospiceCare has found their Love Light Trees to be a comforting way for people to honor their loved ones who have fought or are currently fighting a terminal illness.
During this holiday season, HospiceCare’s “Love Light Trees” will be hosted by several local banks including BB&T, several City National Bank branches, First National Bank, Summit Community Bank as well as First National Bank of Peterstown. For each donation made during the holiday season in memory or honor of a loved one, an ornament displaying his/her loved one’s name will be placed on the tree.
A total of 14 trees will be part of the program this year and should be at each location by Dec. 3.
“The Love Light Trees are a great way for our community to honor their lost loved ones, or show support to anyone (not necessarily a hospice patient) who is currently battling a life-threatening disease,” said Missy VanBuren, public relations manager for HospiceCare.
HospiceCare invites anyone who wishes to make a donation to visit a Love Light Tree at any of the above listed locations or stop by the Lewisburg office, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., or call 304-645-2700.
