HospiceCare 10K Run and Walk to lead off Chocolate Festival

HospiceCare is pleased to announce the annual HospiceCare 10K Race will be held on Saturday, Apr. 11 at 9 a.m. as part of the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival and will benefit the new Peyton Hospice House.

The scenic 6.2 mile race begins at the Greenbrier Valley Airport, crosses 219 North and follows the rolling hills of Fairview Road and Arbuckle Lane into downtown Lewisburg, finishing in front of the Greenbrier County Courthouse. Pre-Registration is available now. Registration fee prior to Mar. 30, is $20 (guarantees a T-shirt) and Race Day Registration will take place at the Greenbrier Valley Airport beginning at 7:30 a.m.

They will also be holding a Fun Walk the same day, at 9 a.m., in front of the downtown branch of First National Bank. The fee is $10 for pre-registration and same day registration. Registration will be held in the lobby of the bank from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. There is a separate application for the Walk.
