Owls at Three Rivers

On Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m., Carnegie Hall invites nature lovers of all ages to gather for a captivating evening of feathers, facts, and forest stewardship. Hoot & Holler: WV Owls & More!, presented by the renowned Three Rivers Avian Center, offers a rare chance to meet live “bird ambassadors” and learn about the nocturnal wonders of West Virginia’s skies.

This free educational program features multiple owl species and a charismatic Raven, each with a story to tell. Guests will discover fascinating details about these birds’ native habitats, diets, and behaviors, while gaining insight into the environmental challenges they face – and how we can help protect them.

Based in Hinton, WV, Three Rivers Avian Center is dedicated to the conservation of native wild birds through rehabilitation, restoration, research, and public education. Their outreach programs inspire ecosystem stewardship and deepen our connection to the natural world.

Admission is free, and donations are welcome to support the Center’s ongoing work.
