High Rocks Educational Corporation has received $34,000 in Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) tax credits. West Virginia residents who pay state taxes are invited to take advantage of this valuable program, in which High Rocks donors are eligible to receive tax credits for half of their donation. The minimum donation amount required to receive WV tax credits is $500.
In order to receive tax credits for 2020, donations must be received by Dec. 31, 2020. For 2021 tax credits, donations must be received by Mar. 1, 2021. NIP donations can be mailed to High Rocks at 195 Thompson Road, Hillsboro, WV 24946 or paid online at highrocks.org.
The High Rocks Hub offers out-of-school tutoring and mentoring and a daily dinner special at no cost to kids 18 and under. Call 304-647-4994 to order meals or schedule out-of-class mentoring and tutoring. High Rocks Academy in Hillsboro is a year-round leadership program for girls, and includes two transformative summer camps every June and July. All High Rocks programs are offered to young people free of charge.
