Helen Francis Hennessy Estep

White Sulphur Springs-Helen Francis Hennessy Estep, 90, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 7, 2014, at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.

Born Aug. 28, 1923, in Nitro, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Mary Elizabeth Fleshman Hennessy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Hennessy and Julia Glover.

During her working years she was a dry cleaning clerk.

Survivors include sons, Charles Edward Estep of Red Boiling Springs, TN and William Robert Estep, Jr. of St. Mary’s; daughter, Mrs. Sandra Jean Marshall of Seneca, MO; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service was conducted on Monday, May 12 in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home where Rev. Lewis Brooks officiated.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.

Visitation was one hour prior to the service.

Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, is serving the family.
