GVT and WVJO honor Veterans November 9

lt-dc-robert-l-caldwell ben-b-caldwell master-sgt-elizabeth-caldwell-and-major-susan-caldwell-bossertGreenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia, along with the West Virginia Jazz Orchestra, will hold a concert in honor of Veteran’s Day on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 for general admission, $13 for seniors and $11 for children/students. Veterans and active duty military will be admitted free of charge. For tickets or more information, call GVT’s Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.
The concert will include classic jazz favorites as well as patriotic music. As part of the concert, a slide show featuring photos of local veterans will play throughout the performance.
GVT is accepting photos of veterans to be included in the slide show until Oct. 31. All submissions should include name(s) of the veteran(s) pictured, rank and branch of service, and years of service.
Photos can be submitted in person or by mail to GVT, Attn. Veteran’s Day Concert at 1038 Washington Street East, Lewisburg, WV 24901. Photos can also be emailed to Micah Labishak at micah@gvtheatre.org. For more information, call (304) 645-3838. This program is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Culture & History and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
