Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia, announces Kermit’s Kabaret on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $16. Seating is limited. Reservations are highly recommended. For tickets or more information, contact GVT’s Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.
This evening of music and laughter stars GVT’s Resident Music Director Kermit Medsker as master of ceremonies. Professional actors from GVT’s country/pop musical production “Pump Boys and Dinettes” will perform favorites from classic and contemporary musical theatre.
Kermit’s Kabaret has become one of GVT’s more popular regularly scheduled events. Patrons get the chance to experience a part of theatre not available anywhere else in Lewisburg.
“It’s happy and fun. You should come out and see it, and have a drink while you’re at it,” Medsker said.
Medsker began his career at GVT with Pirates of Penzance when productions were held in The Barn by Greenbrier Valley Airport. His recent Music Director credits include “Chicago,” “Stand By Your Man: The Tammy Wynette Story,” “Beehive!” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
