The Greenbrier Valley Conservation District (GVCD) will hold sign-ups by appointment for its FY18 Agricultural Enhancement Program from June 1-30 for Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas counties. The program provides cost-share funding for best management practices including lime, fencing, watering systems, woody invasive species management and cover crops. If approved, applicant will be notified mid-July to mid-August for completion of practices prior to June 1, 2018. (Program is contingent upon availability of funds.)
The Greenbrier Valley Conservation District will assist with applications at the following locations/dates from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.:
- Lewisburg USDA office: June 1, 2, 6, 9, 12, 15, 23 and 30
- Union USDA office: June 5, 14 and 26
- Peterstown City Hall: June 8, 22 and 28
- Buckeye USDA office: June 7, 19 and 27
- Durbin: June 13 and 29
- Rainelle: June 21
