Guy William Heck, 63, of Union, passed away on May 24, 2025. Born in Worcester, MA, Guy spent most of his life in the Quaboag Valley region of Central Massachusetts and will be remembered for his genuine heart and one-of-a-kind spirit.
A skilled craftsman, Guy worked for many years as a self-employed drywall installer/finisher and took great pride in the quality of his work. He was also a proud member of the NRA who valued tradition and personal freedom.
Known for his natural charm and great sense of humor, Guy had a magnetic presence that brightened the mood of everyone around. He cherished his friendships and cared deeply for those close to him, often sharing stories, laughter, and moments that left lasting impressions.
Guy found joy in life’s simple pleasures – the crackle of a campfire, cooking over charcoal, getting lost in a good book, the open road, and a quiet night under the stars. He treasured his time hunting, camping, gardening and fishing and was always ready for a new adventure.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Heck, Brittany Heck Adams (Nicholas), and Briana Blair; his grandsons, John and Weston Adams; and many close friends and relatives, affectionately known as “Cuz Guy” and fondly remembered as “one Heck of a Guy.” He will be deeply missed by all.
Guy was predeceased by his parents, Raymond E. Heck, Jr. and Jacqueline (Lane) Heck; his brothers, Lane R. Heck and Clayton Heck; his paternal grandparents, Mary (O’Day) Cleveland and Raymond E. Heck, Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Bettina and Bob Lane.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at the Knook Restaurant, 285 South Main Street, Union, WV. Food will be served.
