A Botany Walk is set for Saturday, May 30, on the Greenbrier River Trail and will be led by Bella Walker, Appalachian Headwaters Native Plant Program Manager.

The Greenbrier River Watershed Association (GRWA)is hosting a morning botany walk on the Greenbrier River Trail on Saturday, May 30. Please join us at the second larger parking area at the trail in Caldwell at Stonehouse Road at 9:30 a.m. to enjoy some coffee before heading north on the trail by 10 a.m. to identify plants along the river.

The walk is about 1 mile up to the big rocks and back, taken at a leisurely pace. No need to register, all are welcome and new participants will receive a free Hydro-Flask reusable water bottle!

The walk will be led by Bella Walker, Appalachian Headwaters Native Plant Program Manager. The GRWA is grateful for the collaboration with Appalachian Headwaters to provide this event to the public.

Please stay tuned for inclement weather rescheduling by following www.facebook.com/greenbrier.watershed.
