Ronceverte-Greta Catherine Totten, known to many as “Skeeter,’’ passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 6, 2015.
She was born in Ronceverte on Feb. 23, 1931, a daughter of the late Elbie F. and Elmira Morgan Honaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Mullens of Lewisburg.
Greta is survived by: her three sons, Dan of Snellville, GA, Tim of Knoxville, TN and Kenny of Fairlea; sister, Penny Sibold of Monroe County; three granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and a great-grandson.
Her funeral service was held on Aug. 10, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Rev. Earl McGuffey and Rev. Tim Dillon officiated. Both are former pastors of Greenbrier Baptist Church in Ronceverte where Greta was a member. Burial followed in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
