In a recent radio interview, The Greenbrier’s tennis pro emeritus, Pete Sampras, told host of Mad Dog Unleashed, Christopher Russo, that he would be bringing his family to The Greenbrier for the grand opening of Center Court at Creekside.
“[Andre Agassi and I] are going to bring our families there and have a fun couple of days. We will enjoy the court and enjoy what Sandy Cutler has put together. I’m looking forward to it. [The Greenbrier] is a great facility and resort,” said Sampras.
Sampras married American actress, singer and model, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, on Sept. 30, 2000. The couple has two sons, Christian Charles Sampras, 13 and Ryan Nikolaos Sampras, 10.
Wife and sons will attend the grand opening celebration and cheer on Sampras as he takes on his long-time rival, Andre Agassi, at the debut match for Center Court at Creekside.
The Greenbrier’s new tennis stadium will be unveiled to the public on June 20, when the gates open at 12 noon. The tennis match between Sampras and Agassi will begin at 2 p.m. Following the exhibition, multi-platinum artists, Earth, Wind & Fire, will perform at Center Court at 9 p.m.
Limited tickets are available for the tennis match and the concert. Tennis tickets start at $60 per person and concert tickets start at $80 per person. Purchase tickets today at www.greenbrier.com/centercourt.
