The annual Greenbrier Valley Shrine Parade will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 at 4:30 p.m. Parade lineup is at 3:30 at the Lewisburg Elementary School entrance at Hollowell Park. Floats, cars, walking units, fire departments, or any other units are welcome to participate in the parade. The parade is in conjunction with The Greenbrier Valley Shrine Classic Band Competition, which will be held at the Greenbrier East Stadium shortly after the parade. There will be several high school bands from the state participating in the event and the parade will be a part of their competition. So, please come out and watch the parade and support the Shriners in their efforts to help disabled children.

The Greenbrier Valley Shrine Classic Band Competition will begin at 5:45 p.m. with Eastern Greenbrier Middle School Band playing the National Anthem and other selections. The High School field competition will begin at 6 p.m. with several bands competing throughout the evening with Greenbrier East High Band taking the field for an exhibition field show. This will be a great musical event for our area, so please support the Greenbrier Valley Shrine club and bands that are participating.

For questions regarding the parade, please call Dell L. Wood at 304-645-7565 or James Floyd at 304-645-6277. Thank you for your support.
