On Saturday, Dec. 14, Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company will be releasing a new beer in collaboration with West Virginia State Parks and Smooth Ambler Spirits.
3 Rails Trail Barrel Aged Brown Ale will be released simultaneously at Pipestem State Park and the GVBC Taproom at 2 p.m. This beer will be featured at WV State Parks throughout winter on draft. This traditional brown recipe is curated by GVBC Head Brewer Dave Barron and brewed on their small batch system, and was aged for two months post fermentation in a Smooth Ambler Barrel selected by WV State Park Employees. On Dec. 14, GVBC will have Kitchen 304 on site for the taproom release at 2 p.m., and live music from the Goodson Boys from 5 to 9 p.m.
The event at Pipestem State Park will be held at The McKeever Lodge from 2 to 4 p.m.
