The 34th anniversary of the Greenbrier Valley-Alderson Quilt Guild was celebrated Monday, Apr. 20, at the Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg with a potluck luncheon and meeting.
Anita Hill, Don Hill and Mary Godby, three founding Guild members, were in attendance for a total of 29 participants. President Sharon Vance and members discussed topics that included baby quilts for local shelters and family centers, upcoming Quilts of Valor presentations, review of the recent March quilt show at the Visitors Center, preparations for professional quilt documentation, and a May quilting class.
The next quilt show is planned for Nov. 2026. New members are welcome and may contact GValdersonquiltguild@gmail.com for upcoming meeting and class dates and times.
