Greenbrier River Watershed Celebration set for September 29

The annual Greenbrier River Watershed Celebration will be held at Lost World Caverns from 4- 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29.

The event is sponsored by Greenbrier River Watershed Association, Friends of the Lower Greenbrier, WV Cave Conservancy, and Lost World Caverns.

There will be free guided cave tours by the WV Cave Conservancy. Uncle Don’s Band will perform music with Fred Pritchard and Friends, Robin Wright and Doug Blankenship, and Mary Daily. Liselotte Heil will also play in the cavern.

Food will be available for purchase from Stuart’s Smokehouse for a suggested donation of $10. Admittance for kids under 12 is free, and there will be kids’ activities available.

Sponsors for this year’s event are City National Bank, Plants Etc., Irish Pub, A New Chapter, SJ Neathawk Lumber, Bank of Monroe, Wolf Creek Gallery, Eze Break, Pendleton Community Bank, FoxFire Realty, and Autumn Environmental.
