Greenbrier Grand Jury hands up indictments

The Greenbrier County Grand Jury handed up 41 indictments during the October session. Among those indicted this term is Larry Vernon Hoke, a White Sulphur Springs resident who allegedly shot and killed his stepdaughter, Glenda Hull, in a domestic dispute in October 2015. Hoke has been indicted for murder.
Those indicted are:
Timothy Eugene Ashley, 44, Quinwood, manufacture of a controlled substance – marijuana, prohibited person in possession of a firearm (three counts); Jessica Black, 23, Quinwood, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine; Tanya Jean Bowling, 37, White Sulphur Springs, failure to register as a sex offender or provide notice of registration changes (three counts); Brian Keith Brown, 49, Maxwelton, driving revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, third or subsequent offense; Diana Lynn Martin Cales, 32, Rupert, grand larceny, burglary;
Jerry Cales, 39, Rupert, transferring stolen property more than $1,000; Heather E. Canterberry, 30, Rainelle, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine; Renee Hayley Casto, 29, White Sulphur Springs, breaking and entering, petit larceny (misdemeanor); Adam P. Clay, 26, Alderson, grand larceny, burglary; Sarah Leigh Dowdy, 31, Sinks Grove, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine;
Tiffany Dawn Fannin, 28, Rainelle, embezzlement; Jason Daniel Fogus, 36, Frankford, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, fleeing from officer by means other than a vehicle (misdemeanor), obstructing an officer (misdemeanor); Wayne Edward Gill, 33, Alderson, breaking and entering, transferring stolen property less than $1,000 (misdemeanor); Romalee C. Goins, 34, Alderson, grand larceny, burglary; Pamela Sue Grimmett, 35, Rainelle, transferring stolen property more than $1,000; Leah Jean Harper, 39, Clear Creek, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny; Leah Jean Harper, 39, Clear Creek, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny;
Larry Vernon Hoke, 68, White Sulphur Springs, murder; Rebecca Diane Hudson, 34, White Sulphur Springs, embezzlement; Rosaletta Maria Hudson, 34, Ronceverte, grand larceny; Steven L. Johnson, 38, Quinwood, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine; April Lynn Kirk, 38, Ronceverte, shoplifting, third or subsequent offense; David Nathaniel Leech, 37, Lewisburg, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine;
Paul S. McCafferty, 51, Rainelle, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine; Alisha D. McKeever (White), 40, White Sulphur Springs, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny; Vickie Lea McNeely, 52, Caldwell, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny; Lisa Ann Mullins, 38, Frankford, embezzlement; Travis Norwood, 30, White Sulphur Springs, delivery of a controlled substance – heroin; Travis Norwood, 30, White Sulphur Springs, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – cocaine, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – marijuana, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – oxymorphone, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – alprazolam;
Jill Cameron Perkins, 38, Lewisburg, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine; Tammy Lynn Plogger, 34, Lexington, VA, operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing a controlled substance – methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine; Darby Blaine Rogers, 42, Caldwell, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance – heroin; Christopher Lee Shifflett, 29, Alderson, grand larceny; burglary; Matthew Shrewsberry, 37, Meadow Bridge, sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person of trust to a child (two counts); Brian Keith Smith, 40, Alderson, grand larceny, burglary;
Mary E. Spence, 33, White Sulphur Springs, breaking and entering, attempted grand larceny; James Ray Starrett, 35, White Sulphur Springs, breaking and entering, petit larceny (misdemeanor); Manuel Dean Williams Jr., 43, Artie, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny; Manuel Dean Williams Jr., 43, Artie, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny; Robert F. Winfrey Jr., 53, Rupert, grand larceny, burglary; Todd H. Wood, 37, Beaver, transferring stolen property more than $1,000.
Judge Jennifer P. Dent’s arraignment hearings are scheduled for Monday, October 17, at 9:30 a.m., and Judge Robert E. Richardson’s arraignment hearings will be held Friday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m.
